Creative Director

With a strong focus on data and performance

Lead a virtual team of artists and front-end developers from video producers and illustrators to interaction and UX designers. You will be working closely with our Head of Product but also be able to eventually run projects from start to finish with little intervention. The Creative Director have oversight of the design team and design processes; the ideation, presentation and execution of new features and improvement of existing ones; the operational readiness of the creative team - all in fulfillment of our brand. You provide art, design leadership and support to product development efforts. Conceptualize and execute excellent visual solutions for the interactive experience, maintaining style guide parameters, defining and meeting standards of quality for artwork, and meeting all production deadlines.


  • Apply and perform drawing/sketching, ideation, color theory, imagery, user experience & branding on new projects
  • Manage a virtual team of talent for daily production tasks and be comfortable in a Sprint environment
  • Be strategic and look for opportunities, yet have the ability to craft the design detail and get your hands dirty
  • Be able to support design decisions with data using our internal Data team and your own efforts for tracking and monitoring
  • Have the confidence and ability to predict ‘what’s next’ in design trends and position our brands accordingly
  • Build a creative network of talent to work with you daily as well as higher tier talent to work on bigger projects
  • Constantly further an understanding and appreciation of wider business issues and how they affect Design
  • Develop usable, ownable and scalable holistic systems and solutions
  • Establish an agile design process
  • Excite, inspire, and provide guidance to your network of talent
  • Communicate and present creative strategies, design concepts and consumer / Design industry insights to internal and external audiences
  • Be able to partner and connect with Global Brand Teams
  • Be able to make decisions in a deadline driven environment in the most efficient way possible. Represent the voice of the user (internal and external) throughout all aspects of the business
  • Build Design Capabilities and share knowledge in an inspiring way
  • Evangelize the meaning of Design to the whole organisation
  • Project Lead direct team/agency to meet deadlines


  • 7+ years Design industry experience - with a strong emphasis on interaction and UX design - video experience a plus
  • Holistic Design approach for understanding context, developing insight, exploring and visualizing business (and Design) opportunities across all areas of Design including web, apps and video media


  • Tools: To be able to use graphic Design tools across a variety of media (Mac), including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and AfterEffects.
  • Code: Understand popular programming languages and CMS platforms. Know CSS and HTML in detail
  • Juggle: The ability to work on up to 4+ major projects at any one time and the sub-projects that do with that
  • “Always On” attitude: Irregular hours may be required around concept debut and key deadlines across the project schedule
  • Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
